What you'll do
Raise awareness and motivate clients to improve the accessibility of their services.
Develop a roadmap to integrate accessibility into an organization's workflow.
Provide assistance to UX/UI designers and developers from concept to launch to ensure an accessible user experience.
Conduct accessibility testing of websites and mobile apps to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
Document accessibility issues and suggest appropriate solutions to address them.
Educate and train all stakeholders, from content editors to management, on accessibility best practices.
Who we're looking for
You have a background in UX, UI or front-end and a good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a must.
You understand the challenges people with disabilities face online.
You have experience (or are eager to learn) testing with assistive technologies like screenreaders.
You can apply and explain WCAG in the context of websites and mobile apps.
You're a motivating speaker and bring clarity to complex matters.
You write in clear language. Mostly Dutch and English, French is a plus.
IAAP certification as a web accessibility specialist is a plus.
You look up to accessibility champions like Scott O'Hara, Adrian Roselli and Sara Soueidan.
Maybe you're really into testing but don't like public speaking, or the other way around? That's okay, you don't have to tick all the boxes. We'll focus on your strengths.
