Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Craftzing and its affiliates (collectively "Craftzing", "we", "us", and "ours") use cookies and similar technologies to recognise you when you visit our platform, including without limitation https://www.craftzing.com and any related URLs, mobile or localised versions and related domains/sub-domains ("Websites"). It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as the choices for how to control them.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer or other internet-connected device in order to identify your browser, provide analytics, remember information about you such as your language preference or login information. They are completely safe and cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your device.
How we manage consent
We use Cookiebot, provided by Usercentrics GmbH, as our Consent Management Platform (CMP). When you first visit our website, you will see a consent banner that allows you to accept or decline different categories of cookies. Non-essential cookies are only placed after you have given your explicit consent via this banner.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the cookie icon or the "Cookies" link in the footer of our website, which reopens the consent banner.
Google Tag Manager and Consent Mode
We use Google Tag Manager (GTM), a tag management system provided by Google Ireland Ltd, to manage the scripts and tracking tags on our website. GTM itself does not read or set cookies and does not collect personal data. It acts as a container that fires other tags based on the rules we configure.
We have implemented Google Consent Mode v2 in Basic mode. This means that all non-essential tags (such as analytics and marketing tags) are completely blocked until you give your consent via the Cookiebot banner. If you decline cookies, no data is transmitted to third-party analytics or marketing services.
Why do we use cookies?
We use first-party and/or third-party cookies on our platform for various purposes such as:
To facilitate the operation and functionality of our platform;
To improve your experience of our platform and make navigating around it quicker and easier;
To allow us to make a bespoke user experience for you and for us to understand what is useful or of interest to you;
To analyse how our platform is used and how we can customise your experience;
To identify future prospects and personalise marketing and sales interactions with them;
To facilitate the tailoring of online advertising to your interests.
What type of cookies does Craftzing use?
Cookies can either be session cookies or persistent cookies. A session cookie expires automatically when you close your browser. A persistent cookie will remain until it expires or you delete your cookies. Expiration dates are set in the cookies themselves; some may expire after a few minutes while others may expire after multiple years. Cookies placed by the website you are visiting are called "first-party cookies".
We use the following categories of cookies on our platform:
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for our platform to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They enable core functionality such as security, network management, your cookie consent preferences and accessibility. Without them you would not be able to use basic services. You may disable these by changing your browser settings, but this may affect how the website functions.
2. Analytics cookies (requires consent)
We use Matomo Cloud, provided by InnoCraft Ltd, to understand how visitors interact with our website. Matomo Cloud is hosted on EU servers (craftzing.matomo.cloud). Analytics cookies help us measure traffic, identify popular pages, and improve the user experience. These cookies are only set after you consent to the "Statistics" category in the cookie banner.
3. Marketing cookies (requires consent)
We use the LinkedIn Insights Tag, provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, to measure the effectiveness of our LinkedIn advertising campaigns and to gain aggregated insights about our website visitors. Marketing cookies are only set after you consent to the "Marketing" category in the cookie banner.

You have several options to control cookies:
Consent banner: Use the Cookiebot banner (shown on your first visit, or accessible via the cookie icon in the footer) to accept, decline, or customise your preferences by category.
Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may affect website functionality.
Opt-out links: For Matomo, you can opt out via our cookie banner. For LinkedIn, you can manage your advertising preferences at https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/advertising.
Blocking and disabling cookies and similar technologies
Wherever you are located, you may also set your browser to block cookies and similar technologies, but this action may block our essential cookies and prevent our website from functioning properly, and you may not be able to fully utilise all of its features and services. You should also be aware that you may lose some saved information (e.g. saved login details, site preferences) if you block cookies on your browser. Different browsers make different controls available to you. Disabling a cookie or category of cookie does not delete the cookie from your browser; you will need to do this yourself from within your browser. You should visit your browser's help menu for more information.
Changes to our Cookie Policy
We may change our Service and policies, and we may need to make changes to this Cookie Policy so that they accurately reflect our Service and policies. Unless otherwise required by law, we will notify you (for example, through our Service) before we make changes to this Cookie Policy and give you an opportunity to review them before they go into effect. Then, if you continue to use the Service, you will be bound by the updated Cookie Policy. If you do not want to agree to this or any updated Cookie Policy, you should not use our website and services.
