Craftzing's Merry Mocktail Guide

Ready to shake things up? Follow our mixologist’s tutorials to create the perfect mocktail for you and your loved ones at home.

Sage Sour

  1. Prepare the ginger tea: Boil 100 ml of water, add a bag of ginger tea, and let it steep for about 10 minutes longer than the recommended steeping time for extra bitterness. Allow to cool completely.

  2.  In a cocktail shaker*, lightly crush the sage leaves with the cooled ginger tea.

  3. Pour in the Botan Citrus Spice, lemon juice, egg white, and agave syrup. 

  4. Shake the mixture vigorously without ice. (Tip: Hold the shaker tightly as the egg white will expand.)

  5. Add ice and shake again.

  6. Strain the cocktail into a glass and garnish with a few sage leaves.

Elderflower Fizz

  1. Make the infusion: Infuse 10–15 butterfly pea flowers in 100 ml Botan Citrus Spice until the liquid turns a vibrant purple-blue color. Strain the infusion.

  2. Fill a glass with ice cubes. Add the elderflower tonic until the glass is half full.

  3. Add 45 ml of the infused Botan Citrus Spice, lemon juice, and sugar syrup. (The cocktail should now have a striking purple color.)

  4. Top off with more elderflower tonic if necessary.

  5. Garnish with a slice of lemon and enjoy with a straw.

Basil Smash

  1. In a cocktail shaker*, combine the Botan Citrus Spice, basil leaves, lime juice, and the sugar syrup.

  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously.

  3. Strain the mixture into a glass over a large ice cube (or several smaller ones).

  4. Top off with a splash of sparkling water. Garnish with a few drops of basil oil.
