Talent & Events officer
Craftzing is looking for a Talent & Events officer who finds just as much satisfaction in a well-run training day as in a company event that people talk about for weeks. Someone who does not just execute, but thinks along about why something matters and how to make it land. In this role, you step into a team where people, learning and culture are at the center, and where the operational backbone makes all the difference. You are the person who keeps three domains moving at once, sees the connection between them and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Do you enjoy working across learning, events and communication, do you feel at home in a role where structure and people go hand in hand and do you get energy from seeing initiatives actually come to life? Then you will probably feel right at home here.
As Talent & Events officer, you are the operational core of our People Team. You do not work for one domain, but across three: Learning & Development, the support of our CoE Leads and our internal events. In practice, you are often the person who keeps the overview when others are in the details. You see what is needed before anyone asks, you make sure processes run without people having to think about them and you make initiatives visible across the organization through the right channels at the right moment.
Communication is not an afterthought for you. It is a tool. And it shows in everything you do.
In this role you report to Femke, our Chief People. Operationally you work closely with Kim, our People Director.
What you'll do
Learning & Development
You capture learning needs from employees and CoE Leads and translate them into a concrete training plan, including selecting the appropriate training partners
You plan and organize trainings, workshops and conferences from A to Z
You track L&D budgets and maintain a clear overview of what is planned, spent and available
You maintain the L&D offering and track ongoing programs and their impact
You make sure the offering and results are clearly communicated across the organization
CoE Lead support
You provide operational and administrative support to the Centers of Excellence Leads
You coordinate evaluation cycles: setting up templates, managing timelines, consolidating data and following up
You act as the link between the CoE Leads and the rest of the People Team
Internal events
You coordinate our major company events: HomeComing, UnPlug and Future of Craftzing
You organize our monthly Food for Thought sessions, from setting the content agenda to full logistics
You handle the end to end execution: venue, catering, communications, run of show and follow up
You manage the event calendar and ensure a good rhythm and spread throughout the year
Internal communication
You make sure all People & Culture initiatives land clearly and on time through our common communication channels
You coordinate and gather content for the monthly update
You actively think about how we communicate internally and use communication as a lever for real impact
Who you are
You have 2 to 5 years of experience in an operational or coordination role, whether that is in people ops, L&D, event management or internal communications. You are someone who feels at home in a world of schedules and overviews, but who also understands that behind every process there are people you need to bring along.
You are strongly analytical and structured, you thrive on clear processes and you are always on top of your to do's and timelines
You keep the overview even when a lot is happening at once
You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English, in writing and verbally
You know how to make complex information clear and accessible
You work independently but know when to align or escalate
You are comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Notion and Confluence
Experience with an LMS is a plus
You feel comfortable in a fast moving environment and have an affinity with the digital sector
But what really sets you apart? You get just as much energy from the preparation as from the execution. And you understand that the best initiatives only truly exist when they are also well communicated.
Why you'll love working here
You will join a team of people who genuinely care about how they work together and what they build as a result. We create sustainable digital platforms for organizations like Telenet, Digitaal Vlaanderen, itsme®, BNP, Ahold Delhaize, Mediafin, Melexis and TP Vision. But how we get there matters just as much as the outcome.
At Craftzing, the focus is never on one-off deliveries, but on collaboration that leads somewhere. Teams come together around shared goals and build something that keeps growing over time. This is how we create impact that lasts, both for our clients and for the people who work on it.
There is trust, autonomy and space to shape your work. What matters most is mindset: going beyond execution and actively thinking along about how people, learning and culture at Craftzing keep getting better. If this resonates, we would love to hear from you.
